Wow! Really clear tonight. I took some time and aligned my red-dot finder carefully and took another shot at using the Barlow extension. It took some doing, but it worked, and I got a shot of Saturn:

Hmm. This 3X stuff might be a big deal. Also, I took a shot of Jupiter:

I think these are my sharpest pictures yet of planets. Good thing, too - I was starting to feel like there wasn't much more I could do with my ETX.

On a lark, I pointed the scope at the 2 arcsec double Alpha Pisces. It was kinda tough, because the 4th mag star is a little dim for a red-dot style finder.
